Mind The Gap is a community of change makers, united through music, weekly inspiration, and collective action to close the gender equality gap—we celebrate with an annual festival, but our real impact happens every day through the connections, conversations, and victories we share together.

Mind The Gap will educate festival goers on the different gender gaps in equality including the Income Gap, Executive Position Gap, Educational Attainment Gap, and Political Representation Gap. It will also point towards experts in each field and encourage the support of organizations that are doing the good work to lessen each gap.

Mind The Gap celebrates minority groups working in and pursuing careers in music and entertainment related industries.

In partnership with The Salt Lake Community College School of Arts, Communication and Media (SACM), Mind The Gap music festival will contribute a portion of each ticket sold to a scholarship fund for individuals interested in pursuing a degree in an entertainment related industry.

After the festival, the scholarship applications  will open October 2023 and be awarded for the January 2024 semester.
